Heavyweight Bretons

I received my Claire skirt this morning and tried it on straight away - oh my goodness, she is just gorgeous! I’ve always been a bit wary of close fitting jersey fabric skirts as I don’t like clothing which clings in the wrong places, but this skirt feels feather-light on, beautiful soft elastic around the waist, no digging in or unflattering clinging at all! I can tell it’s going to be equally great worn casually, just as much as dressed up more smartly too. This is what’s great about Ivy (I’m a long term customer) because the pieces can be worn in so many different situations, I feel I’m getting true value for money. Well done Ivy team, Claire is fantastic!

Just what I was looking for, a casual/smart comfortable skirt that I can dress up or down. The material is super soft with a really nice weight to it.

Such beautifully soft and well made items. Brilliant wardrobe staples that I know I will wear again and again because they are so comfortable.

This skirt is just perfect in every way and goes well with all my Ivy tops. So comfortable to wear. I’m so glad I emailed Hannah for some size advice. I’m in between a size 10 and a 12. After some really helpful advice I decided to buy the size 12. It’s a great fit, not too clingy and really comfortable around my tummy. I’m sure it will work really well going into the colder months with my Nancy sweatshirt.

I’d looked at the Elle semi-fitted dress before buying. I wondered if it would be too close fitting and show too many lumps & bumps. However when there was an offer, I thought I’d give it a try. It’s lovely and skims over my body without being too loose. The petite length works for me, I’m 5’5”.
More colours please - teal, green?

it’s a dress i feel ‘at home’ in

I have had this dress for a week and worn it 3 times already. I love it. It is from fitting without feeling tight, and very very comfortable. I am 5'7 and ordered a petite to get a more midi length.

This is such a wearable dress. I bought the navy and would love to see it in more colours.

I purchased this dress for my daughter, she needed cheering up and this did the job !!
Unfortunately it was a little snug so I have returned it for a bigger size .

The ecru is a really flattering colour, very slightly off white. I sized down from my usual Ivy size and found it was a less bulky fit on me. Really versatile and lovely to wear, not see-through at all. Great shorter length means it’s easier to tuck into high-waisted bottoms or leave loose.

I have just received 2 Claire skirts (navy and black) and I am so pleased with them. I have been after skirts like this for some time in colours that work with everything and this skirt absolutely does this. Im normally a 12 so opted for a 12 in the skirt and it’s a great fit. It’s very comfortable and will work well dressed up or down. Thank you Sally and Ivy for another fabulous addition to my wardrobe!

I’m a big fan of Ivy dresses, so was very excited to see a skirt was coming out and bought it the day it was released. I’ve not been disappointed, it fits perfectly and is very flattering, have received quite a few compliments wearing it to work today. It’s also super comfy and feels very well made - it’s going to get lots of wear.

I love this skirt, it arrived yesterday and been wearing since; it’s a very flattering shape over the hips and skims my mum tummy but in a nice still fitted way; length is perfect and fabric is as all your products very good quality

A comfortable and flattering dress for the warmer weather. I ordered both a 12 and 14 and whilst I could have got away with either, the 12 gave a slightly neater look. Being tall (6ft), Emma is quite short on me and a few more centimetres wouldn’t have gone amiss but this won’t be a problem for most! As always, beautiful quality and softness.
