Emily Luxe Organic Cotton Midnight Sweatshirt

I am so pleased with this sweatshirt. I probably could have had a size smaller but it hangs so beautifully that I like it being a bit bigger. It was quite expensive but quality is fabulous and I am going to wear it a lot I’m sure.

I have fallen in love with the ease of wearing this sweatshirt, it’s definitely my ‘go to’ piece of clothing!
I was a bit dubious at first when I brought this due to its quantity of fabric and it’s shape, but the weight which makes it hang beautifully, the fabulous quality of the fabric and it’s cut works really well for my 5ft4” height - I am normally a size 8 in my tops and Ivys size 6 worked perfectly in this sweatshirt.

I love the unstructured style and fantastic oversized fit. Great dark navy that I look forward to hopefully fading over time. I need another colour….!

Beautiful sweatshirt. Lovely hem that makes it hang nicely. Very oversized so consider going down 1 to 2 sizes depending on the look you want.

Its a very baggy but flattering style jumper - I loved wearing it, its very heavy material so hangs just perfectly - I am a size 12/14 and I bought the 12 but to be honest I could have got away with a size 10 if you wanted the less baggy look

The quality of the material is excellent which is where the 3 stars come from, but despite ordering a size 8 (I am usually a 10-12 in Ivy tops), the top was still massive. I understand that the top is oversized but it looked like I was borrowing a top from someone. The sleeves as well were really long and bulky and it just looked wrong.

I have worn this sweatshirt pretty much every day since I received it in the post. It is SOOO comfortable and warm. Sadly it’s now resigned to the laundry basket, but I will be wearing it again soon. The style is so easy to wear. LOVE IT 😀

Once again, Sally and her team have knocked it out of the proverbial park. This is a beautiful very relaxed sweat in a deep midnight ‘is it navy or is it black’ (the former). I am usually a 10 everywhere bar Ivy where I jump between a 6 or an 8 (I am also ‘petite’ 5’ 2”). I decided to opt for a 6 based on my beloved Connie which was the right thing. Emily IS generous meaning I can comfortably layer up beneath her, dressing her up for work or throwing her on when I walk Mr Jasper the Welsh Terrier. A total recommendation for Emily.

I love everything about this sweatshirt. I was a bit apprehensive about the styling and which size to go for but it hangs so well and I feel really good when I wear it which to me, feels really important . It’s heavier than my Verity sweat and so warm and cosy as well as very much on trend.
I love the colour and I really like the unfinished hem look.
I’ve never really bothered buying sweatshirts before, preferring knitwear,but I absolutely love Emily and Verity which are both different and look and feel great. Well done Ivy, you’ve nailed it!
