I love this dress. I wear a 12 petite and I’m 5ft 5. It is the perfect length and the fit is lovely. It fits true to size with enough room.

The olive colour is considerably shorter than the black/navy Emma which is such a shame. So short that it’s unwearable if I raise my hands above my head. Will have to be returned.

I thought this olive version would be the same length as the regular navy Emma dress, but sadly it’s several cm shorter and doesn’t suit me. Not sure why they’ve made it shorter?

I am not a big dress fan, I have a handful that I wear and most are too smart for casual day to day wear. I'd tried other Ivy dresses, and although I liked them they just weren't for me. Emma however is completely perfect! I finally found a dress I love, fits me like a dream and is so easy to wear for everyday. Thank you Ivy!

My navy Emma is beautifully soft, fits well and is a welcome addition to my Ivy wardrobe. I looked at her measurements and decided to size down to a 10 from my normal 12. I'm sure a 12 would've been good too, but I prefer a slightly neater fit. I was also undecided about the length but chose a regular even though I'm 5'3. The dress just hits my knee which is perfect for me. Looking forward to wearing it on holiday this year and for many years to come.
This is a really cute dress. It took me a while to “settle into” whether I liked the loose shape, because I’m a classic millennial and came of age with skinny jeans and bodycon dresses. So at first I wasn’t convinced by the looser shape! I wore it around the house for a couple of days and realised how comfortable it is and I think the looser shape is great. It’ll be great for the beach to throw on, it’s nice and airy, and I think I’ll be able to wear it with tights and boots in winter. Win!
I simply adore this dress, which is the perfect “throw on and go” item of the summer. I am 5 feet 4 inches so would technically qualify for the petite but as I am quite long in the body I chose the regular length and it sits perfectly on me. It goes without saying that the quality is superb, as always. Thank you, Ivy!
So firstly, I'm a huge fan of Ivy and live in my Betsy and Megan dress from last summer so I had high hopes for Emma. The quality is excellent as always from Ivy and the cotton is sooo soft, but unfortunately at 5ft 10 I found the dress a little too short for me so had to return.
This is such a wearable dress. I bought the navy and would love to see it in more colours.
A comfortable and flattering dress for the warmer weather. I ordered both a 12 and 14 and whilst I could have got away with either, the 12 gave a slightly neater look. Being tall (6ft), Emma is quite short on me and a few more centimetres wouldn’t have gone amiss but this won’t be a problem for most! As always, beautiful quality and softness.

I ordered the Emma dress in both colours - the postman delivered them today and I couldn’t wait to try them on! I live in my Elle dresses (all 3 colours!), but was so excited when Sally / Ivy announced the launch of Emma. I couldn’t wait to have something that little bit lighter and shorter to wear in the hot weather and to get my legs out.
Emma is wonderful. She’s so comfortable to wear, very light and airy and will be perfect for those hot summer days. She’s loose fitting without being too oversized, while still being flattering and stylish. I think she will look great dressed up or down. So pleased to have added these to my wardrobe (which is 90% Ivy clothing!). Please bring out more colours in the future! X
